Final Artist Statement #4

So I did end up making the webventure a “Make your own movie” adventure. This took a long time to make and most of the time was put into making each movie poster which there are 12. Some turned out better than others, like I wasn’t entirely happy with the Lady Gaga movie, but some of the best I think are both Jordan Peele endings, Anya Taylor Joy’s movie, and Uma Thurman’s movie. In total, there are 28 pages. 12 of them are regular ending pages, and 4 of them are twist ending pages. There are also 3 easter eggs. One of the easter eggs is if you click on the baby on the genre page and then type in the password “boss baby”. Another easter egg is if you click on the colorful button on the Nepo Baby page, it will bring you to a Nepo Baby database. The third easter egg is if you click on Zack Snyder when choosing the director, then click on the gif of him again. Overall, it took me a long ass time but I am happy with how it turned out. I think it was fun to find all the different movies you can make and see the custom-made poster for each one. I even had to do some coding for the poster pages with the numbers going up like that. I wrote some and also had my roommate who is a computer science major help me with it but I think it turned out cool. And now I also have a bunch of fake movie posters to show my friends so it is going to be fun to hear what they say about them. This was also my first time making a website so that was an interesting accomplishment.
